TIGL Marriage Preparation Retreat - Friday, April 20 from 6 pm - 9 pm and Saturday, April 21 from 8 am - 7 pm: This is a modified weekend-retreat formatted from the 4-session marriage preparation series, "Together in God’s Love". The retreat focuses on Catholic marriage as a visible sign of the Holy Trinity and the relationship of Christ to the Church. The weekend includes talks on faith, communication, sexuality, and stewardship in the context of Catholic marriage. Couples are given the opportunity to engage in conversation, self-reflection, and journaling on these topics. The program will conclude with the Vigil Mass 5:30 pm on Saturday evening. Attendance at this retreat will fulfill the diocesan requirements of attendance at a formal marriage preparation course, along with the 1-hour presentation on Natural Family Planning. The State of Texas will waive your marriage license fee with presentation of the certificate of your completion of this course.
