Dear Parishioners:
On Pentecost, we celebrate the Holy Spirit descending upon the Apostles, the Blessed Virgin Mary and all of Christ’s first disciples, empowering them to boldly to proclaim the Gospel to the world.
But this was not a one-time event. Christ continues to send the Holy Spirit to empower us today. At Holy Family, Pentecost lives on when we unite as a parish family to worship together, serve others, and bear witness to God’s love and compassion.
Another meaningful way we help with the Church’s ongoing Pentecostal mission is by creating a will. This practical and spiritual act allows us to care for our loved ones while also ensuring that our faith continues for generations to come.
To support Holy Family, parishioners in this important step, the Diocese of Austin has made available a free estate planning resource. Called FreeWill, this secure, easy-to-use tool allows you to create or update your will at your own pace.
As you complete the process, you may choose to include a legacy gift to Holy Family in your estate plan. This is optional and not a requirement for using FreeWill, but something I hope you will prayerfully consider.
