Today, only a few volunteers serve in this ministry. With more Homebound Ministers, we could share the responsibility so that ideally each person would serve about once a month and routes to individual homes could be shorter. There are parishioners in our community waiting to receive the Eucharist and for the presence of someone who cares. Perhaps this is a ministry you have never considered before. Please take a moment to consider whether God may be calling you to say yes. All volunteers are required to do an online volunteer application/background check and take an Ethics and Integrity in Ministry Workshop.
